Beach Front Dinner in Cancun, Mexico

Beach Front Dinner in Cancun, Mexico

I Found It On a Cancun Night Dive

July 13, 2013

I have been scuba diving since I was 13 years old. I quit for a while and then started back in my mid-20’s. I am sure you can tell by my other stories that I am always searching for a new adventure and a new way to experience what I already know how to do. Scuba diving is no different. I have done a lot of different types of scuba diving, but I had never done a night dive in the ocean.

Fatherhood: Adventure and Responsibility

July 3, 2013

My life has changed a lot since I last posted. I am a little behind on my writing, but I do have a good excuse. A couple of weeks ago our first son was born! His name is Jaxon and we feel that he is a pretty awesome little guy. His birth will no doubt mark the beginning of a long term adventure.

Sometimes You Have To Go With the Flow To Find Satisfaction

June 14, 2013

A couple of summers ago my wife and I went back to her home town of Stewiacke, Nova Scotia to visit her parents. We went on July 4th weekend and it was a nice break from the Carolina heat. I think the highs up there were somewhere in the low 80's, Fahrenheit, of course. Nova Scotia is a beautiful place. There is a lot of untouched nature up there and that also lends itself to some good outdoor adventures.

You Reap What You Sow on a 19 Hour Dual Sport Ride

June 7, 2013

We started our ride very early. I left the house at 6:45 AM to meet Stretch at “the store”. We had breakfast before heading out into the mountains. It’s been a while since I have gotten to ride with Stretch and every time I have ridden with him we have had a very long ride day. Not that I’m complaining, some of my favorite rides are the ones that turn into a bit of a marathon.
